Success on the menu for seaside restaurant

Nova's restaurant dished up a tasty treat for two of its visitors.

Friends Sophie Gascoigne and Kim Haken helped notch up a milestone for Giusto, the seaside restaurant and bar at Nova. The pair took the restaurant’s visitor numbers to 50,000 and 50,001 and were presented with a bottle of champagne each to mark the occasion.

Sophie, from Rhyl, and Kim, from Prestatyn, visit twice a week after taking part in Nova activity sessions with children Sienna and Emma, who are both five months old.

Giusto, which is run by the OBL Group, on behalf of Denbighshire County Council, opened last year as part of Nova’s refurbishment.

Julie Thompson, operations manager for OBL, which also runs Nova’s café and The Beach Hut concession, said: “We were thrilled to reach the visitor milestone so early on after opening and delighted to reward two of our most loyal customers who join us for breakfast each week. Giusto continues to go from strength to strength and we have lots of plans in the pipeline for our customers over the next few months.”
